task: start from scratch and create a 7-page web site from a business card and a printed brochure. we basically started with some content and a logo.

solution: expanded on the colors of the brochure and the colors in the logo to create a themed site for client. the client wanted a site in keeping with the baby/infant theme her business required.

note: tools used for the site were adobe photoshop, illustrator, fireworks, cssEdit and a bit of javascript code.

the client was starting a new business that was devoted to preventing skull deformities in babies.

these deformities result from changes in medical advice relating to sleeping positions.

she worked for years for a corporation dealing with the treatment of this condition and now wants to prevent the condition from happening in the first place by educating new parents and medical personnel to start early before the problem becomes severe.

the business is a difficult one to explain, plus the audience is very targeted towards people getting to the web site through word-of-mouth, printed pieces and advice from professionals.
