wow, last week some lady in a big fat pickup smacked into the back of my car with my wife at the wheel. this was the result. i thank the lord that she was not injured as the pickup was going at least 40mph and she was stopped at a light in cedar hill.

miracles do happen. my darling is safe and sound. car...mushed, but fixable.

it's been a while since i have had a moment to post anything here.

this weekend we finally did something we have been talking about for months...we cleaned out our garage. i know, it's not really earth shattering.

but it really is nice to park the cars in the garage. our garage has been a construction zone for months now and it took a good 5 hours to get this all cleared out and cleaned up.

josh is finally home! he got back last night and we are very glad his tour of duty is over and he is safe at home.

this is a shot of him with his new look from petra, jordan. he stopped off here and also took a short jaunt to egypt before he hopped on a plane back to dallas.

well, the work is almost finished in the kitchen and it is almost time to start cooking again.

today the kitchen sink and the dishwasher were put in and this past week has seen the kitchen floor, the counter tops and the back splash all finished.

yippee.

the cabinets look great and tuesday the oven and range get installed and we are in business.

it has been a good long time living in the new house and waiting for this kitchen to be finished.

oh yeah, we also put together a good part of our bedroom closet this past weekend too.
