free grass roots wordpress theme rocks
just a quick word to highlight a free wordpress theme i came across today called "grass roots". it is by the designer andrew lindstrom over at the blog called well medicated. andrew is a freelance designer like myself.
i like to point out good design when i see it and andrew has a winner design here. be sure and also take a look at the preview of his almost finished magazine style design theme he calls zinepress. it looks like it will be a very nice design.

@karedas - yeah. I thought so too. very nice design…wish i had designed it, but andrew lindstrom was the designer.
i almost used it on my new blog I just started (www.aloneonetheweb.com), but decided to go with a lighter theme for this one.
i did play around with the code a bit and got it so the post area would be white, which i prefer, since most pictures look and work better with a white background.

I like this theme alot too. Usually simple themes are either white (boring) or black (dark) so this is a good option.

I like the colors and variety as well. I get bored with black and white unoriginal themes. Thanks for sharing.

Depending on the subject, this is a very good theme.

You keep up to date on this quite regularly I have been following and agree with everything you comment on, I have linked this blog from my site now..
